Southwest Ranches is one of the few towns in Broward County with almost no commercial strip — that is the point of living here. The trade-off is that anything personal, from a haircut to a laser appointment, means driving out of town. Meljestic Spa sits about fifteen minutes east on Hiatus Road, and a good number of our regulars make that drive from Country Estates, Sunshine Ranches, Green Meadows and Rolling Oaks.

What they get for it is a single-client studio rather than a clinic floor. Melissa Martinez — a licensed Florida esthetician and electrologist — performs every treatment herself. You see the same practitioner at every visit, which matters more than it sounds: your laser settings get adjusted as your hair actually thins, instead of being reset by whoever happens to be on shift. Meljestic holds a 5.0 rating across 153 Google reviews, with no review below five stars.

Laser hair removal built around an outdoor life

Southwest Ranches is a riding town. Large lots, horse trails, paddocks, and a great deal of time outdoors in Florida sun and humidity. That combination is hard on skin, and it changes what good laser treatment looks like.

Packages are priced as full courses of six sessions: small areas $300, medium areas $450, large areas $600, x-large areas $750, and full legs $900. A full-body course of eight sessions is $2,400. Pricing is current at the time of publishing and may change; your plan and price are confirmed at your free consultation before anything is booked.

Skin treatments for sun-exposed skin

Years of outdoor living in South Florida show up as texture, brown spots, and a dullness that no product fixes on its own. Two treatments do most of the work here.

Microneedling prompts your own skin to rebuild collagen, which improves acne scarring, fine lines, enlarged pores and uneven tone. Because it uses no heat, it carries a much lower risk of triggering pigmentation than heat-based laser resurfacing — which genuinely matters on sun-exposed and deeper skin tones. A three-session course is $550, and it can be upgraded with PRP drawn from your own blood.

Chemical peels and microdermabrasion resurface the top layers for sun damage and congestion. Deeper peels are best scheduled in the cooler months, for the same sun-exposure reason as laser.

The neighbourhoods we serve

Clients travel to us from across Southwest Ranches, including Country Estates, Sunshine Ranches, Green Meadows and Rolling Oaks, and from the surrounding areas around Sunshine Ranches Equestrian Park, Rolling Oaks Open Space Park, Trailside Park, Frontier Trails and Calusa Corners. We serve all three Southwest Ranches ZIP codes: 33330, 33331 and 33332.

Getting here

From most of Southwest Ranches the simplest route is east along Griffin Road, Sheridan Street or Stirling Road, then south on Flamingo Road to Hiatus Road. Depending on which end of town you start from it is generally a fifteen to twenty minute drive. There is free on-site parking, and because the studio takes one client at a time, appointments start when they are scheduled to.

We also serve neighbouring Cooper City, Davie, Weston, Pembroke Pines and Miramar.

Questions from Southwest Ranches clients

How far is Meljestic Spa from Southwest Ranches?

Roughly fifteen to twenty minutes, depending on whether you are starting from the eastern or western side of town. The studio is at 2555 N Hiatus Rd, Suite 11, with free on-site parking.

Is laser hair removal a bad idea if I ride or work outdoors?

Not at all — but timing matters. Laser cannot safely treat freshly tanned skin, so if you are outdoors most days it is worth starting your course in the cooler months and using proper sun protection between sessions. Melissa will plan the schedule around that rather than ignore it.

I have blonde or grey hair. Will laser work?

No. Laser needs pigment in the hair to work, so blonde, grey, red and white hair does not respond to it. Electrolysis does, and Melissa is licensed for it. If laser is not going to work for your hair, she will tell you at the consultation rather than sell you a package.

Do you treat men in Southwest Ranches?

Yes. Back, chest, shoulders, neck and beard-line work are all regular treatments here, and can be full clearance or a lighter reduction that keeps some natural coverage.

What happens at the first appointment?

A free consultation covering your skin type, hair type, any medications, a realistic session count and the actual cost — plus a patch test. You will leave knowing whether the treatment is right for you, either way, and nothing is booked before that.
